The Books That Shape Our Lives

The first time that I listened to the Atlas Shrugged audiobook, I felt a furnace being stoked in my mind.  The fuel from those words fed the fire in my brain, and soon it became uncontainable and began blowing the doors in my mind right off the hinges.  My view of the world and of mankind is forever changed.

The War by PBS

I just started watching a DVD set that my wife's grandmother got me for Christmas years ago.  It's stories from WWII.  I love old stories about American heroism.

Walmart is good for America

You don't have to shop at Walmart to benefit from Walmart's pricing. For instance, Walmart started a $4 generic drug policy. It didn't take long until the other pharmacies lowered their generic drug prices to compete with Walmart. I get my prescriptions filled at Rite-Aid for $4.60 and get much better and quicker service than Walmart for only $0.60 more. Thanks Walmart!

Apple TV

I bought an Apple TV with a gift card that I got for Christmas.  I have to say that is one of the best little devices for my home theater that I have.  For less than $100 you can stream all of your iTunes content on your LAN to your TV.  You can also rent movies, and watch TV shows.  It's worth every penny.

What to expect.

From time to time, I will be posting my thoughts on current events that interest me.  The topics that I will write about include politics and technology.  I also plan to share a little from my own life as well.
